Aaliyah Haughton made headlines after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age Ain't nothing but an amount. She was only 15 at the time and the album went on to become Gold. This collaboration, heavily influenced R. Kelly's music and put her in the limelight. The year 1996 saw her release her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album featured the number one hit track If Your Girl only knew. Aaliyah gained notoriety as an R&B artist after her album's release. In 2000 she appeared on the screen in Romeo Must Die, a romantic action film with Jet-Li. Joel Silver, the film producer, met her at an awards show and suggested the role. She was in 2002 when she was in the Anne Rice-based horror film Queen of the Damned. The year 2003 saw her starred in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is of Indian heritage and was born Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann originates from her husband's name Mankad. Mann employs Aarti Man as well as Aarti Mahumdar to refer to her stage name. Although her early career was dominated by minor films and television roles, she gained more prominence in the mid-2000s. Other notable work includes Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. In addition, she has appeared in commercials for big companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. She is currently working on her acting career with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
