Ann's appearance with her band in an event for fashion was when Gloria Schiff, editor of Vogue Magazine, discovered Ann. Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to do her first Vogue photo shoot alongside Richard Avedon within one week. Ann went onto become one of the most sought-after models ever, featuring her cover in top fashion magazines Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann became a popular model in Europe, Japan and other international markets for about two months. Ann was the model for giants of cosmetics like Max Factor Revlon or Chanel.
