Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of the singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a family that was musical. In her early years she was a singer in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. By the time she turned 15, Houston had sung professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother in Chaka Khan's song from 1978 Im Every Woman. The singer went on to sing backing vocals for Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her own mother. She also worked briefly as a model appearing on the cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. Her first gig was as a lead singer for New York-based New York Funk band Material. The quality of her vocal work attracted attention from major record label Arista who signed her in 1983. The year 1985 saw Whitney Houston's debut album became one of the most successful debut albums of all time. Many hit songs, including The Greatest Love of All, Saving My Love For You How Will I Know It's Good to Love You as well as The Most Beautiful Love of All were released from the album, setting the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US number ones. The album's debut US year of release, the album had sold more than 3 million copies. Then it went on to be listened to by more than more than 25 million worldwide, earning her her first Grammy. Whitney was her first album. Whitney which came out in 1987 and featuring the hit singles Where Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, continued her earlier success. It was The Bodyguard (1996) that cemented her position as the top selling album in music. Although the film and her performance on screen were not widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her rendition to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the singles and albums charts for a period of time and sold over 44 million copies all over the world. It was also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist who gave the sole child of her marriage, Bobbi Kristina Brown. It was at this point and by 1996, she had become a regular user.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American reporter anchorwoman and political reporter for CNN. She has created shows for CNN, including Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. Bash has received many awards, including a place in the Women in Washington Power List published by Elle magazine. Her remarkable anchoring and reportage skills are praised by many journalists. The only child she has is her pride and joy in life. She has been married twice and is currently single. Bash one who enjoys being independent and strong, is very fond of her followers.
