Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born in Canada. She is most well-known to Canadians for her role as a Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision television series Cosita linda e Voltea and a'que te enamores. Her other talents include being a successful model and dancer. She was born in Montreal, she was raised in Texas. She has always had a passion for performance. She was trained since the age of three in many diverse forms. When she was 15 she began participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when she made her debut in 2008 as competing in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty competition. In 2010, she made her acting d but as a receptionist on an episode of Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. Her first movie was an action drama Tattooed Love in 2015.
